“The difficulty is always should I take the plunge or not, I had a good job. Jumping from that the first thing I did I thought was a great idea, I didn’t do due diligence, I just jumped straight in when I had the chance, seven months later I was sleeping on a friend’s sofa. I wasn’t really making money and the partnership wasn’t going well, I had to rethink how I was doing it. I think the fear depends on where you are in your life; it’s easier when you are younger but I wouldn’t say there is a right time. There is an enormous amount of data you have to do before, but you also have to have one thing, which is well maybe the numbers say this but I can still do it, that kind of slightly blind faith. They always say you can’t become an entrepreneur without a little bit of blind faith, in that you can do this.
