When business started difficulties overcame:
“I’ve always had ideas. I’ve known from the time I was very young that I would be an entrepreneur. And it’s the way my mind works, I see opportunities in everything. But I think part thing I had to overcome is that I don’t come from a family of entrepreneurs and I don’t come from a family of a lot of means. So, everything that we have started in terms of business has been started with an idea and no experience and very little cash. So, in those particular situations it really takes so much more sticktoitiveness just to make sure that things get done ”…[Listen for More]

Best Advice to Other Entrepreneurs:
“if you are not where you want to be and if you are truly an entrepreneur, I don’t know that you are ever where you want to be. And if that is with growth or it is with staffing, it’s with technical aspects of it, whatever area of your business is not where it needs to be, get help in that area. Other Quotes From the Chat with Meredith Viguers:
- “I spent first 10 years of being in this catering business with all roads leading to my office. I didn’t know any better when I built the business so I built it with being the one who did all of the invoicing, all of the quoting, all the admin work, running the events, cooking in the kitchen, doing the dishes. I did every single job in the company. During those years I thought the business to grow I just had to work more hours well when you are already doing 80 to 100 hours a week you can’t do much more… So, if I had known then what I know now and I could have started the business with the team in mind oh my goodness the headaches I could have saved myself over the years would have been incredible”
- “you are the sum of the five people you spend the most time with. So that in a circle. Who are the people that you bounce ideas off of? Who are the people that you spend time being around and are they on the same level?… Are they people who are also cultivating ideas? Are they growth oriented? Are they looking for what’s next in life and do they uplift you in that process? Having that core group of people is massively important. ”
- “We have to be intentional about the things that we do throughout the course of our day”
