When business started difficulties overcame:
“the first one is, every business I have started I had no capital, very little credit. And every single business I’ve ever created there wasn’t really anything to model on prior to that not really. So, my first company was one of the very first digital marketing agencies, it was called digital café, I just got some clients, started hustling, built it in my basement literally with my business partner and refinanced it on credit cards”…[Listen for More]

Best Advice to Other Entrepreneurs:
“you got to be a triple threat. Here is what that means. First of all, you have got to be able to sell on the phone. You have got to learn how to sell and how to overcome objections and not take anything personally… The next one is salesmanship in print. Copywriting, copywriting, copywriting. That means what you do is you go to the Gary Halbert letter, you get Dan Kennedy’s sales letter, there’s another couple of great sales letters like the collier letter collection. You get those books; you get a yellow pad and a pen and you write and rewrite those sales letters by hand 25 times. And you are going to learn a voice and you are going to be able to adapt your voice and you are going to know why you are going to think about it and meditate on it. And yeah it is going to suck and it is hard work that’s what determines your discipline. The third, video. Learn how to speak on video. So, I would say speaking, learn how to speak. When you have got to get used to getting over however you look and however you sound and whatever other kind of BS little bitch excuses you for not blah blah blah. Whatever your reason why is. And get over yourself and your ego and say if you want to attract amazing things in your life you have got to learn how to present and perform and educate and entertain. And all of these three role into the big picture which is what makes you amazing as being a great storyteller. And that’s been able to project your perfect audience into a movie starring them with you and your product and service as a guide”…[Listen for More]

Other Quotes From the Chat with Mike Koenigs:
- “I really welcome elders into my life”
- “I studied the entrepreneurs that I respected and then I develop skills that would become incredibly valuable and useful to them and now they are friends… I studied them so well and understood what they needed and how I could help them achieve a higher level. And every single person that I talked about there have become friends. I worked with them and created and built things with them as well”
- “I hate intellectual dishonesty; I despise emotional dishonesty”
- “secrets to success: being true to yourself is first and foremost, next thing is you’ve got to create a category of one for yourself. And what I mean by that is find your superpower. In other words, know thyself , something that provides value and happiness and joy to you and operating in that zone is often as possible and being the only one to provide value”
- “your goal shouldn’t be to be the best at something it should be the only person doing that one thing”
- “that is the secret to success, category of one, crafting an amazing story that’s super attractive, super interesting that drives right fit people to you raising their hand and saying I already know I want to work with you. That is amazing”
- “what should someone focus on? More copywriting early, comedy, learning that, phone sales ”
- “a triple threat is someone in business who can invent or innovate, prototype and sell and then market. And market and sell are two different things. But to be a combination of three things”
- “do every personality profile test you can, Colby, Myers Briggs, enneagram, strengths Finder… I know there’s a whole bunch more”
- “who do you need to become right now to become attractive to that which you desire?”
- “Everything you desire already belongs to you and you belong it. The only thing separating you from it is time. What you’ve got to do to accelerate or shorten the time between you being with whatever that is you desire and it being with you is to find out and explore and ask yourself who do I need to become to become attractive to it? In other words what kind of invisible ignorant things do I do that pushes that away, that makes me unattractive or polarises that? It could be a person or a thing, it could be money, it could be a home, it could be whatever it is. That’s an incredibly powerful tool self-growth.”
- “If you want something you have got to declare it. It’s up to you. And if you consistently find yourself mad at other people about certain things you have got to ask yourself why am I creating that circumstance and why am I attached to being angry. You have got to take full responsibility for your own expectations, your own rules of engagement, your own everything. And really get clear on what makes you mad and why and do something about it because you are in charge of you and you are in charge of your feelings. And if you are owned by them then you are a bitch. You are a bitch to something that has control over you. And that is my definition of being something’s bitch. And I think that’s an unacceptable way to live. Your sense of purpose and joy is your responsibility and if you are not experiencing it it’s because you are not working on yourself, you are not asking yourself the hard questions and you are unwilling to face your deepest fears, your deepest traumas. It doesn’t mean it’s your fault it just means you are responsible for it”
- “I highly recommend curating your own information and news”
- “the secret to my success was create really good packaging, name stuff, problems people are having and then create bonuses that overcome sales objections and fan it out on a sales page along with the reason why they should buy”
