That’s definitely tough because when you have limited resources and then to add to that you don’t have the references it can certainly make challenges in the beginning weeks and months of your business”…[Listen for More]

Other Quotes From the Chat with Juan Carlos Abello:
- “I never realised at the time how easy it is to look for funding, to find funding. It was relevant nine years ago, it’s even more accessible and relevant today. I kind of went through all the different hurdles that you have to overcome throughout the years on my, friends and family to ensure that the business could grow. And now I can reap the advantages because I have a lot of leverage, I don’t have investors in the business. You will certainly have to give more away if you don’t have a client but you can have access to funding that could ensure that you could at least check that first box which do I have the funding that I need. To get to the point where I can show this product to the market”
- “one of the things that helped me the most is waking up early… I do five in the morning. But I think it’s because you can get everything done that might prevent you from spending quality time with the team members at your office”
- “you need to be a good listener because I have noticed a lot of entrepreneurs seem to have issues when they go from the stage where you are everything… But as your company grows you start to hire team members and you need to make sure that you can trust them and they are going to do what they are supposed to do so that you are not investing efforts in what you expect one of your team members to do. When you are doing that switch, I have noticed that is a very challenging stage of every business. Entrepreneurs have a very tough time in letting go but you have to”
- “staying healthy becomes so important for your business then how your co-workers see you, believe in you and commit to your vision”
