“when I started Venture Harbour I was kind of a very naïve teenager, I think I started the company with maybe £500 in the bank and a broken laptop, I didn’t know how all this stuff works, I didn’t have connections, as I said I didn’t go to university, I didn’t really know what I was doing. And so there was a lot of difficulties to overcome like how to actually physically start a business, I had no idea, no funding. And in a way I see this as a blessing because I think I was so naïve that I didn’t realise that the odds were so bad, like I didn’t realise just how hard it is and so I kind of just got on with it and took one footstep at a time.
