There were so many difficulties Neil I don’t even know where to start. When I started my business I was very naïve…people didn’t know who I was, they didn’t know what I was doing, I wasn’t clear, I didn’t have a clear target audience, I didn’t have a clear value proposition, I was trying to be all things to all people…I didn’t really sit down and strategically look at who am I, what am I great at, what do I love to do, where can I add the most value. Instead I went straight to where can I make some money, where can I make my next ‘paycheck’– and that was a huge mistake, there was no strategy, no brand, none of it.
