Entrepreneurial Role Models:
When business started difficulties overcame:
“I think for every entrepreneur especially when you are beginning there is that moment where you are going is this. So, I was working in a very large firm, I was making really good money, in fact it was the prime job that everybody wanted and I had gotten it and I was having great success there and I was learning and I was enjoying it but I just had this desire in me to go into business and to try this. So, there was some significant sacrifices that my wife and I had to make for me to do this. To go from making quite a lot of money in a lucrative career that you know where it’s going to go and where you are going to end up to a realm that is very uncertain as to whether you are even going to be successful because what you have is an idea and you don’t know whether it’s going to be successful and you really don’t know what the financial rewards are going to be. But there is something that drives you to do it and I think that pivotal moment of stepping into the unknown and leaving a great career was probably it for me”…[Listen for More]

Other Quotes From the Chat with Arvind Raichur:
- “I made the mistake that many entrepreneurs make initially which is you either hire friends or family or a combination of the two because you are comfortable working with them. You know that’s not necessarily the best way to achieve your goals and your dreams. I think the best way to do it which I have learnt subsequently is by putting together the right team to achieve the vision that you have for the business, I think that’s really the key. And by hiring friends and family it might feel comfortable at first but it leads to a plethora of problems along the way”
- “really layout the vision of what you are trying to do, the problems are trying to solve, how you meet that problem, how you solve it differently, what the unique value proposition is for your business or your innovation or your technology, laying that out clearly, trying to define the roadmap of which you are going to do it, making a really good solid plan, understanding what is going to take financially, understanding that one of the best ways to achieve that goal is not to think that you have to do it all by yourself but there are plenty of mentors out there that you can seek out that are just happy to guide you and give you advice”
- “I don’t know a single entrepreneur that hasn’t had failures along the way. Not everything that you do, not everything that you plan out so meticulously will result in success. What some people may view as failures the best wisdom that has been said by many an entrepreneur is those weren’t moments of failure those were moments of learning. And if you embrace them as moments of learning and you understand that they are part of the journey to becoming a successful entrepreneur that is going to be one of the biggest keys with regard to becoming successful”
